The other option would be to extend your Recovery partition into the free space and then shrink it by adjusting the space available before it which would end up or should end up putting unallocated space between Windows and the Recovery partition. There are other partition managers available but that's what I use personally. It will make you reboot to apply the changes Move the recovery and merge your Windows with the free space. It looks like you have a 2nd Primary partition your Recovery between Windows and the free space. Windows Partition Manager acts up for me if I have 2 or more Active or Primary partitions on the same disk. I use Easeus Partition Manager it's free you can do a web search for it. There are other free programs available that can do much more with a better interface.
Windows Partition Manager stinks to be honest.
